Brief
Based in Kyneton Victoria, Bolton Motorcycles had expanded it's customer base beyond the local area through the clever integration of an online shop to it's website.

Selling KTM brand spare parts to customers Australia wide they successfully tapped into a niche market that has delivered solid financial results. They had a desire to upgrade the look & feel of the website and expand the range of products offered through the site to include non-genuine parts and accessories.

A requirement of this site rebuild was that the original parts ordering system had to be kept intact and any new development we did had to integrate with the parts system due to the complexities of handling part number supercessions.

Solution
After careful analysis of the database and existing site, the project was broken up into three main areas of development. 1. complete re-design of the front end design, and 2. integrate a new database with accessories & clothing into new shopping cart functionality where the user could order both spare parts & accessories in the same order and 3. create an administration function whereby the Boltons staff are able to update product on the site complete with description, pricing & photographs, using our image library.

The project was delivered by liasing with multiple suppliers including the previous developer and hosting company.
